The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) is designed for anyone for whom training or assessment is a part of their job. This award replaces the former Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (BSZ40198).

Program delivery by Professional Performance Australia will be negotiated with the organisation and/or the individual participants involved.

Professional Performance Australia's flexible course delivery options ensures that no participant will be unduly disadvantaged due to their geographic location. Professional Performance Australia's course facilitators will bring participants together in our virtual classrooms, through being on-line or through VOIP, or telephone link-up. The course is available to anyone, anywhere in Australia. Overseas participants are also invited to participate in this Australian Nationally Accredited Course. The award for successful participants will be issued by “The Learning Collaborative”, Registered Training Organisation.

This course is a Competency Based Training (CBT) Course. With Professional Performance Australia “failure” is not an option in our CBT courses. Provided you display due diligence, our facilitators will work with you until you obtain the required competencies to gain the award.

Where there is a group of participants from the one organisation participating in the course, workplace seminars is one of the options which we may negotiate with you. Courses typically run over a four to six week period.

The full course fee per participant is $1,500 regardless of the course delivery mode. The course fee may be paid in installments of $500. If this option is chosen, $500 is due on enrollment in the course, with the balance being paid in one or two installments before all material is submitted for final assessment.

To gain the TAA40104 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification, fourteen units of work need to be successfully completed.

Twelve of these units are core units and two are electives.

Upgrade program from BSZ40198 - Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training

Professional Performance Australia also offers an upgrade program from the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training program to the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification.

This program consists of a combination of work based workshops and gathering of evidence to satisfy RPL/RCC requirements. The former award will also need to be sighted.

Cost of the upgrade program is $750 per participant.

The Diploma of Training and Assessment (TAA50104) qualification requires the participant to have TAA40104 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as a prerequisite. In addition, participants will need to demonstrate competency against twelve Diploma of Training and Assessment units.
